About us

History and Mission of Bielik

Bielik was founded on the conviction that Polish users deserve a modern platform for investing in cryptocurrencies, built under Polish law and registered in Poland across the entire scope of user service. The founders of Bielik brought broad international experience from the banking, fintech, and blockchain industries, and on this foundation built a tool that answers the real needs of Polish users: security, along with simplicity and transparency of usage rules.
Bielik is a Polish business entity (Bielik Vault Sp. z o.o.), established in 2022 and registered with the KNF (Polish Financial Supervision Authority) as a Small Payment Institution (MIP224/2023).
Bielik has also been registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) under the regulations of the Ministry of Finance and the AML/CFT Act (RDWW-831). Due to the expiration of these regulations on 30 June 2026, and the prolonged implementation of MiCA regulations in Poland, Bielik has established a partnership with BitGo Europe GmbH (https://www.bitgo.com/), headquartered in Germany (BitGo), which holds a CASP license and is supervised by BaFin. This ensures Bielik’s compliance with EU law and continuity of services for its Users.

BitGo is a leading, regulated provider of crypto infrastructure for institutions, founded in 2013, serving clients in over 100 countries, and listed on the NYSE (BTGO), which comes with the highest level of transparency. We operate in accordance with national AML/CFT regulations as well as international regulations in this area. By law, Bielik Vault Sp. z o.o. submits periodic reports to Polish authorities and institutions, such as the KNF, GIIF (General Inspector of Financial Information), and the NBP (National Bank of Poland).
Our mission is to build trust in the world of digital assets by combining traditional financial services with crypto innovation. We focus on full compliance with regulations in Poland and the European Union, transparency based on the principle of putting everything “in black and white,” and education tailored to the evolving needs of users.
Bielik is a project born of local needs and local ambitions – we want investing in cryptocurrencies to be safe, transparent, and compliant with regulations, as well as accessible and understandable for anyone looking to start or grow their experience with digital assets.

Security and Legal Compliance

User security is our priority. On the Bielik platform, we apply a range of technical and organizational measures aimed at protecting financial funds, personal data, and account access:
Two-factor authentication (2FA) – every login and every sensitive operation requires an additional layer of verification.
Data encryption – all user data is transmitted in encrypted form, using proven protocols.
Access segmentation – the system infrastructure is divided into layers with different levels of permissions and access, which limits the risk of unauthorized activity.
Ongoing security testing – we regularly conduct penetration tests and simulate potential attacks to eliminate vulnerabilities and continuously raise our level of protection.
Continuous monitoring – our technical team monitors the platform in real time for activity, anomalies, and potential threats.
