Due to the expiration of these regulations on 30.06.2026 and the prolonged implementation of MiCA regulations in Poland, Bielik has established a partnership with BitGo Europe GmbH, headquartered in Germany.
BitGo holds a CASP license and is supervised by BaFin (the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority). This allows Bielik to ensure compliance with EU law and continuity of services for Users. During registration on Bielik.io, setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) is required for your security, using a trusted app such as Google Authenticator, WatchGuard AuthPoint, or Microsoft Authenticator.
Here's how to do it using Google Authenticator as an example:
1. After email verification: Once you enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email address, the system will automatically guide you to the Google Authenticator setup step.
2. Download the Google Authenticator app: Open the app store on your phone: App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Search for and install the free Google Authenticator app.
3. Connect the app to your Bielik.io account: A unique QR code and a setup key will appear on the screen. Open the Google Authenticator app and tap Add account (the "+" symbol). If you're registering on your phone, enter the setup key manually. If you're using a computer, choose the option to scan the QR code using your phone in the Google Authenticator app.
4. Enter the one-time code on the platform: The Google Authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code. This code refreshes every 30 seconds. Go back to the Bielik registration page and enter the code in the appropriate field to complete the setup.
5. Save your recovery code: Once you've correctly entered the one-time code, the system will display a recovery code. Save this code somewhere safe – it will let you regain access to your account if you lose your phone.
6. Finish registration: After saving the recovery code, click "Continue" to complete the registration process.
From that moment on, your account will be fully secured, and logging in will require a code generated by your chosen authenticator app. If you run into any issues, our support team will be happy to help.
